MY subaru 4WD GLF does not charge the battery!?
MY subaru 4WD GLF does not charge the battery, i have no idea what could be wrong. Can it be the generator, or is there a charge regulator somewere that could be malfunctioning? a few days ago, the voltmeter shoed at least 18 volts, and now it doesent show anything, even when the engine running.
More than likely the alternator is at fault.
If you have access to a multi-meter, check the voltage of the battery with engine shut off, then check it with engine running, it should show an increase in running mode, if not probably alternator bad.
